On December 27, Astrakhan State University will host a seminar on the topic "The use of solar energy for irrigation purposes. Advanced technologies and projects. The experience of Germany".
The project was implemented by NP "EUROSOLAR Russia" within the framework of the Year of Germany in Russia 2020/2021 with the support of the Eberhard Scheck Foundation (Baden-Baden, Germany) and the Goethe Institute.
The partners of the project were: The Embassy of Germany in Moscow, the German Association of the Solar Industry (BSW-Solar), the German consulting company eclareon GmbH, ideas into energy GmbH, UDPO "Energy Institute for Advanced Training of PJSC Rosseti Kuban" and the National Research University of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Moscow Power Engineering Institute).
As part of the workshop, a 5 kW solar power plant was installed to create a fully automated solar-powered irrigation system. The equipment was installed on the basis of the educational and experimental farm "The Beginning" of Astrakhan State University and transferred for free use as an educational and material base. The installation was carried out with the participation of college students under the guidance of technical specialists of the installation company LLC "NSiA", which became for them a full-fledged practical lesson in electrical installation and commissioning of equipment for solar power plants.
The main lecturer of the seminar is Professor of the National Research University of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute Kiryukhin Alexander Alekseevich.
