Dmitry Burykin, the head of educational projects of NP "EUROSOLAR Russia", held an educational seminar for student teams of PJSC "ROSSETI Yug". The event was held in the village of Kabardinka, where students undergo an educational program to obtain professional qualifications for working in the electric grid complex. More than 70 students from 7 universities of the Southern Federal District took part in the seminar.
The seminar consisted of theoretical and practical parts.
The students were told about the role of renewable energy in the energy transition, about distributed energy and current challenges for the electric grid complex that require the search for innovative solutions in the very near future. In the practical part, the students got acquainted with the concept of the competition of innovative projects - Energoproyv, held with the support of PJSC ROSSETI.
In accordance with the topics of the competition, the teams prepared and made presentations of their ideas. The teams have prepared projects in the following areas: innovative personnel training, electricity quality control, loss reduction, environmental issues of industrial waste disposal and the use of drones for the purposes of electric grid companies.
As a result of the seminar, students acquired knowledge about the current directions of the development of the electric grid complex and the role of renewable energy in this process.
