On 01.11.2021, a 67.5 kW solar power plant was launched at the Ural College of Technology and Entrepreneurship.
With the financial support of the Eberhard-Schöck-Stiftung (Baden-Baden, Germany), a 67.5 kW solar power plant project was implemented on the roof of the Ural College of Technology and Entrepreneurship facility.
The solar power plant was implemented as a pilot energy saving project using solar energy technology at a social facility in the Sverdlovsk region. The solar power plant will also be used as an educational base for training specialists in the field of renewable energy.
NP EUROSOLAR Russia, in partnership with LLC "Svet Solnca" (Krasnodar), installed equipment and donated it to the College from the Eberhard Scheck Foundation.
The solar grid power plant will reduce the annual own energy consumption of the facility by 30% and will serve as a good example of the use of solar energy at educational infrastructure facilities in the Sverdlovsk region. The project uses a GoodWe inverter, which allows continuous monitoring of the station's operation and provides control of the generation of electricity from a solar power plant.
In January 2022, NP EUROSOLAR Russia and the Eberhard Scheck Foundation will hold a series of educational seminars and business events dedicated to the use of solar energy in construction on the basis of the Ural College of Technology and Entrepreneurship.
This project was implemented within the framework of the Solar Colleges project implemented by NP EUROSOLAR Russia, the Eberhard Scheck Foundation and eclareon GmbH (Berlin, Germany). The project has already implemented the installation of solar power plants in colleges in 4 regions of Russia: Krasnodar Territory, Sverdlovsk Region, Republic of Bashkortostan and Orenburg region.
