The project "Solar Universities" is aimed at:
- Universities from the partner regions of "ENABLING PV" in the Kaliningrad Region, Krasnodar Territory, Bashkortostan, Ulyanovsk and Samara Regions,
- The partner university of the Moscow
- State University of Energy and Energy Economics and other Russian universities participating in the projects "Solar Schools", "Solar Microgeneration" and "Solar Installer"
The creation of a network between universities and Solar Schools also aims to offer graduates of the seven schools a suitable platform and knowledge pool for training in the field of energy technologies and the energy industry in the field of renewable energy, as well as to enable them to choose a future university that will be ready to support the aspirations of applicants and give them the necessary high-level knowledge. In this context, starting from 2022, it is planned to hold joint events between the participating universities and seven partner schools.
In addition, the new structure makes it possible to combine participating Russian universities with German universities, research institutes and educational institutions that have already established training programs, educational programs and research projects in the field of photovoltaics and renewable energy sources. The goal of this two-way network is to promote joint research projects and academic exchange with Russian universities.
In addition, Russian partner universities, together with German partners, will be united in a common working network with some universities from neighboring countries, which also participate in the projects of the "ENABLING PV", "Solar Schools" and "Solar Installer" formats. In 2021, we will start establishing contacts between Russian and German partners with some technical universities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
The first online workshop will be held in March 2021, and a joint work plan for 2021 and 2022 will be developed. It is planned that at the end of June 2021, the first results of cooperation and the work plan will be presented at the Ren4Reg forum, which will be held in Moscow.
