After a successful workshop in Novotroitsk, on December 22 and 23, 2020, the second workshop was held within the framework of the new project "Solar Installer" - this time in Agidel, Bashkortostan.
The project "Solar Installer" is implemented within the framework of the Year of Germany in Russia 2020/2021 by NP EUROSOLAR Russia together with the National Research University of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Moscow Power Engineering Institute) and UDPO "Power Engineering Institute for Advanced Training of PJSC ROSSETI Kuban" and with the support of the Eberhard Scheck Foundation (Baden-Baden, Germany), the German Embassy in Moscow, the Russian companies DMD-TECH and Kurai Solar. The German Solar Energy Society, the Berlin Brandenburg Regional Association (DGS e.V.), also contributed to the preparation of training materials. Further seminars will be held as part of the ongoing cooperation between EUROSOLAR-Russia and the Eberhard Scheck Foundation in 2021, with the involvement of other professional educational institutions in Russia.
Within the framework of the project, the construction of a 5 kW solar power plant was carried out on the basis of the Agidel branch of the Ufa Fuel and Energy College and a two-day online seminar was held for students of the 3rd and 4th courses of the specialty "Electric Power Stations".
The team of the Krasnodar company LLC "NSiA" together with the students made the installation of a solar power plant on the territory of the college. The students learned the main components and practical techniques of installing metal structures, solar panels and electrical switching. The team of NSiA LLC told and demonstrated the purpose of the individual components of the system: an inverter, photovoltaic modules, protection systems and an electric meter.
After practical training on the installation of the station, the students took part in a two-day online educational seminar on the basics of planning, installation and maintenance of such photovoltaic systems, the main lecturer of which was Dr. Alexander A. Kiryukhin, Associate Professor of the National Research University of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, Candidate of Technical Sciences.
At the end of the seminar, the students put into practice the newly acquired knowledge and made a calculation of a 30 kW photovoltaic power plant with a detailed selection of components and calculation of economic indicators. In the future, college students will be able to conduct laboratory and practical classes using a solar power plant: calculating the efficiency factor, the impact on the production of such factors as shading, precipitation, pollution of panels, and the economic efficiency of such systems.
