"Energy Transfer Technologies: Intelligent electricity metering systems"

On November 22, a session dedicated to intelligent accounting technologies was held at the site of the International Forum "Electric Networks".
The moderator of the panel discussion "Energy Transfer Technologies: Intelligent electricity metering systems" was Georgy Kekelidze, Chairman of the Board of the NP for the Development of RES "EUROSOLAR Russia".

The presentations were made by:

• Voloshin Alexander - Director of the Center of the National Technological Initiative "Technologies of Electric Power Transportation and Distributed Intelligent Power Systems" of the National Research University "MEI";
• Pivovarov Igor - Chief Analyst of the MIPT Artificial Intelligence Center
• Burykin Dmitry - Head of the direction "Education and R&D" Eurosolar Russia;
• Shvetsov Semyon - Director of Argo-Center LLC;
• Vladimir Arnoldovich Mathison - Deputy Technical Director for Digitalization of the Electric Power Industry of NP EKRA LLC;
• Mikhail Khoziainov - Deputy General Director for Development of SISTEL LLC;
• Sergey Shermakov - WAVIoT Development Director.

In his report, Alexander Voloshin, head of the NTI Energinet MEI center, emphasized the enormous possibilities of already existing intelligent accounting systems for the development of a flexible market for additional services for consumers, which can become new directions for electric grid and distribution companies.

Representatives of manufacturers of intelligent accounting systems presented their developments and talked about promising areas of development of the industry, including for research and development.

One of such areas in which research and development is currently being carried out is the use of artificial intelligence technologies, as Igor Pivovarov, Chief Analyst of the MIPT Artificial Intelligence Center, said in his report. 

These developments are necessary for the implementation of predictive analytics for the analysis of electricity consumption and generation, automated distributed management of generation facilities and power grid complex and solving a wide range of urgent tasks.
