The meeting was attended by representatives of the inverter equipment manufacturer GoodWe Europe, Volta Energy LLC, the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, as well as participants of the enabling PV project - representatives of installation companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
Experts discussed the current state of affairs in the field of microgeneration.
The main barrier to the development of microgeneration in Russia is the unavailability of network and distribution companies for technological connection of microgeneration facilities. The connections made on the territory of Russia are of a single nature due to difficulties in fulfilling the requirements of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 02.03.2021 No. 299 "On Amendments to certain Acts of the Government of the Russian Federation regarding the definition of the specifics of the legal regulation of relations on the functioning of microgeneration facilities".
Carlos Martinez, Commercial Director of GoodWe, in his presentation noted the opportunities for the development of the microgeneration sector in Russia, as well as the need to transfer the experience of European countries in terms of the legislative framework for easy access of prosumers to connect to electric networks.
Carlos Martinez
Nikolay Popov, General Director of Volta Energy LLC, presented ongoing projects in the microgeneration sector in Russia and spoke about the work being done on the legislative framework for the development of this renewable energy sector in Russia. Nikolay noted the growth of the microgeneration sector market and the need to work with grid organizations to eliminate this barrier on the way to connecting microgeneration to electric grids.
Nikolai Popov
Tatiana Shestopalova, Head of the Department of the Institute of Hydropower and Renewable Energy Sources of the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, spoke about the project of the renewable energy training ground and the Solar Installer project implemented jointly with the German company eclareon GmbH.
Tatiana Shestopalova
Alexander Alekseevich Kiryukhin, Professor at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, stressed the importance and uniqueness of the Solar Installer project for the exchange of experience of specialists from universities and installers in Russia and CIS countries.
Participants of the enabling PV project, installers from Kazakhstan Albek Sagyshevich Sarbasov, CEO of ECONRG, and his colleague from Uzbekistan Akram Makhkamovich Mirzabayev, CEO of MIR SOLAR, shared current projects in their countries, as well as measures of state support in the microgeneration sector.
As a result of the discussion, solutions were proposed, which will be further worked out within the framework of the functioning of the working group, which included the participants of the discussion: representatives of GoodWe, Volta Energy, NP EUROSOLAR Russia and the Moscow Energy Institute.
