The first module of solar-powered Internet communications was produced in 2011 by a non-profit partnership for the development of renewable energy in cooperation with “Telecom STV” and “Centroterm SiTek”. It is installed in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve.
Such modules were subsequently installed in the parks Sokolniki, Izmailovo and Biryulyovo Dendropark. The project of their installation was presented by the city of Moscow at the stand of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation at the exhibition "Intersolar" in June 2012 in Munich and at the conference "Urban infrastructure using renewable energy" in Heidelberg.
The opening ceremony of the Yaroslavl solar power station with a capacity of 7.2 kW. and 5 masts of autonomous lighting on solar batteries "Danko" took place in 2013 in the complex reserve «Altufevsky».
It is organically inscribed in the landscape of the natural reserve between the two reservoirs and its original design is stylized as a pedestrian arch bridge. The station's power is sufficient for the operation of the lighting columns continuously for more than 100 hours, even in the absence of sunlight.
Several competitions of youth creative projects on the use of renewable energy sources in the urban environment were conducted on the initiative and leadership of the Russian Society "Znanie" and the Non-Profit Partnership for the Development of Renewable Energy "Eurosolar Russia". Lectures, seminars, webinars and meetings with the involvement of specialists in the field of renewable energy sources were held during the competition. Winners of the competition along with diplomas, valuable prizes were awarded internships at leading foreign and domestic enterprises specializing in the field of renewable energy.
The non-profit partnership for the development of renewable energy "EUROSOLAR RUSSIA" has repeatedly participated in the International Forum "ENES" and the International Forum on Energy Efficiency and Development of Energy "Russian Energy Week". Panel discussions on the role and place of RES in the energy system of Russia were held under the leadership of “EUROSOLAR RUSSIA”.
