The Public Chamber of the Moscow City was formed on June the 10th 2008 by the edict of Mayor of Moscow. The Public Chamber aims at consolidating efforts of government bodies, the civil society, the business sector and NGO’s and creating an effective dialogue between them. The framework of the Public Chamber of the Moscow City covers creating a favorable environment for moscovites, developing and implementing mechanisms of citizen participation in the formation of socio-economical governmental policies.
